Say N' Play Summer Speech Camp

[Goto External Website]

Two consecutive 4-week camp sessions for children three to nine years of age. The camp offers intensive speech and language stimulation through structured and unstructured activities, including off-campus field trips weekly. Our staff to child ratio is 1:4 or 1:2, depending upon diagnosis and need. Classes are taught by qualified speech pathologists. Each child also receives individual or small group therapy twice a week. All children are assigned a "speech buddy" who will be apprised of each child's speech and language goals and will work unobtrusively to help child achieve goals.

Sertoma Camp Endeavor - Dundee, FL

[Goto External Website]

Sertoma Camp Endeavor is a tax exempt IRC Section 501 ( c) (3) non-profit summer camp that provides a highly motivating educational program in a recreational setting for deaf and hard of hearing children 8 through 16 years of age. We can accommodate 64 children and 30 counselors per week in three cabins and an air conditioned 8000 square foot cafetorium building in a wooded setting in Dundee Florida. Our program is unique in that it integrates deaf children with deaf counselors who are successful in their adult college or work day lives. Many deaf or hard of hearing campers have never associated with someone who shares their special needs, and who is an independent and successful adult who can demonstrate this independence to the campers.
