Camp Ballibay for the Fine and Performing Arts is looking to fill its
summer staff in Vocal, Instrumental, and Rock Music. We are located
on an exquisitely beautiful, 200-acre mountaintop campus in
Northeastern PA and offer exciting programs in: Theatre, Music, Visual
Arts, Radio, Video, Dance, and Sports. Our camp is small (80- 120
campers at a time and around 45 staff members), non-competitive,
and an incredibly supportive environment of young artists, ages 6-16.
We are looking for instructors with experience teaching one or more of
these instruments or skills:
• Piano, piano accompanist
• Vocal, choral
• Beginning- Intermediate String
• Beginning- Intermediate Brass
• Beginning-Intermediate Woodwind
• Guitar (electric, acoustic)
• Electric Bass
• Drums
• Keyboards
• Recording
• Experience working with children
• Excited to teach music
• Interest in participating in an intensive, immersive summer arts
program
Music Instructors teach individual and group classes based on camper
interest, and organize bands and ensembles based on the compatibility
and skills of interested campers. Instructors often accompany during
productions, and help campers prepare for performances. Most
instructors are also cabin counselors.
