Georgia Lions’ Camp for the Blind

Residential camping experience for blind and visually impaired individuals residing in Georgia. Though full utilization is made of staff and facilities, a recreational emphasis is placed on social, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual growth. 1 to 2 week summer residential camping. Each camp session is geared toward a specific age group. The camp for ages 6 – 10 years is a family camp and the camper can bring a sibling (in same age group) or parent along. Camp activities include arts/crafts, gardening, canoeing, camping, nature quest, fishing, archery, dramatics, music, horseback riding, track and field, swimming, tandem biking, sports, and games.
