High Esteem Camp Goodwill - New York

For children & young adults with physical disabilities & of special needs, ages 7 - 25. Our 5-day/4-night sessions begin in mid-June & run through mid-August with revolving start & finish days, designed to fit most schedules! Each session features countless adapted traditional program favorites such Arts & Crafts, Music & Sports as well as a variety of special events & guests! Fees vary with assistance. Some camperships are available, if applications are received early. In addition, there are special Adults’ Sessions for those up to age 55. Resumes for summer staff interns are now also being accepted.


Say N' Play Summer Speech Camp

Two consecutive 4-week camp sessions for children three to nine years of age. The camp offers intensive speech and language stimulation through structured and unstructured activities, including off-campus field trips weekly. Our staff to child ratio is 1:4 or 1:2, depending upon diagnosis and need. Classes are taught by qualified speech pathologists. Each child also receives individual or small group therapy twice a week. All children are assigned a "speech buddy" who will be apprised of each child's speech and language goals and will work unobtrusively to help child achieve goals.

Star Ranch is similar to other camps in the fact that we teach Christian values, and offer many other fun activities. The similarities end there. Star Ranch is geared specifically to deal with children that have MULTIPLE learning disabilities. Our focus is on building self-confidence, experience, and independence in children.
