Zion Farm's Equestrian camps are for those that are horse crazy and want the full equestrian experience! Each rider is assigned a horse that they, as a team with one or two other campers, will care for and learn to love as their own.
Campers that own their own horse are invited to bring it to camp for the week!
Instruction is focused toward strengthening each rider's foundation and on helping each rider to advance in their riding. For beginning riders, instruction is focused upon developing a correct position and upon effective communication with the horse.
When not riding, campers will participate in "Barn Talk" and "Equine Management", two classes focused on strengthening campers understanding of the care and management of the horse.
