Timber Ridge Camp

Timber Ridge Camp's program has something for everyone!

Timber Ridge Camp is celebrating its 53^rd summer this year.  Only 90 miles west of Washington, DC, Timber Ridge is located in the beautiful Shenandoah Mountains where the base of the North Mountain and the shores of the Cacapon River meet to surround out 200-acre campsite.  Our coed, ACA accredited camp offers full and half sessions with individual free-choice programming for campers with every kind of interest.

With over 40 activities at Timber Ridge, we have developed a free-choice scheduling system which allows children to pursue all of their interests.  We have activities for every kind of camper – from flying circus trapeze and Broadway-style plays to water skiing and go karts.

Timber Ridge campers are recognized as individuals and encouraged to pursue their goals through every experience.  Our camp is ideally sized with roughly 300 children in each session.  With this number of campers attending Timber Ridge, we truly know every child and they do not get ‘lost’ in the numbers.  While our largest contingent of campers comes from South Florida and the Baltimore-Washington Area, we are well represented with children from all around the country and world. 

At Timber Ridge we pride ourselves in the fact that we provide the most exciting and caring environment in the camping industry.  Under the supervision of our qualified, diligent and nurturing staff, children blossom at camp.  Timber Ridge is your child’s home away from home.
