The National Teen Leadership Program (NTLP) is a motivating, inspiring and fun three-day, leadership weekend for teens. This is a special year for us as we are celebrating our 15-year anniversary and returning to the campus that started it all in 1992, California State University, Sacramento.
During the weekend students will hear from three outstanding motivational speakers, take part in numerous interactive workshops and participate in small group sessions – all centered around the concepts of leadership, teamwork, and diversity.
Just a sampling of the program contents include: unity, diversity and bias awareness, communication skills, problem solving, peer pressure, conflict resolution… just to name a few; giving you the skills and assets you need as leaders to power through and make a difference.
As an NTLP participant, you will leave with a focus and a vision to Bring Your Leadership To Life on your campus and in your community.
It’s never all work and no play at NTLP! For the past 15 years, students have been thrilled and amazed by our opening-night hypnotist, enjoyed our Saturday Night Dance and bonded with other students from all over the country (and sometimes, from other countries!) during free time activities.
Additionally students are recognized at a closing program (parents and friends invited!) for their accomplishments and achievements. Scholastics, athletics, extra curricular activities and community service are just some of the awards presented to deserving achievers!

NTLP does not have a political or religious affiliation. We are a LEADERSHIP camp and as such, are open to students of all faiths, nationalities, ethnicities and belief systems. We offer an optional non-denominational service on Sunday morning where students who wish to participate enjoy coming together to share their combined spiritual beliefs.
