Traditional camping at its best. Since 1886, Incarnation Camp has been providing quality camping experiences and memories that last a lifetime.
Incarnation Camp is located in coastal Connecticut, on 700 wooded acres surrounding a mile long private lake, Incarnation Camp is the country’s oldest co-ed camp. Since 1886, we have provided a fun-filled, traditional camp with experiential learning and group living in the outdoors. Pequot for Boys (7-13), Sherwood for Girls (7-13), and Pioneer Village for Teens (14-15) provide programs designed to guide campers through well-rounded programs that develop an appreciation for nature and celebrate the uniqueness of each individual.
Campers reside in platform tents, which are scattered throughout the wooded camp land, giving the campers a sense of adventure. Separate living and bath areas are designated by age for boys and girls.
In the spirit of the traditional camp experience, activities include: boating; water sports; ropes course; archery; hiking; primitive studies; field and team sports; fine arts, such as drama, art, dance, arts and crafts; horseback riding (for an extra fee); and much more. Off-site camping and canoe trips are also offered each session.
Incarnation Camp fits well within the family budget. Attractive pricing and the Availability of scholarships (for those who can demonstrate need) allow us to welcome a diverse group of campers to our program each summer. We are close to home and travel is available from New York city.
