A summer camp that surrounds itself with Horses!

FOR THE YOUNG PERSON WHO LOVES HORSES AND RIDING!  Ride all day, experience different horses, and different riding styles: Hunters, Jumpers, Western, Dressage, and even Walking horses.  We teach balanced seat, European style riding which is the basis for western, hunt, and dresage.  Understand the mechanics of horse movement and the principals of horse thought.  Learn training techniques with personalized instruction, and concentrate on imporving your skills.  Our philosophy encourages exporation of a wide range of horse experience and understanding of how the different schools of training fit together.  Each camper will ride two - four different hores a day, depending on their skill level and interest.  Bring your own horse if you have one and learn how to get the best out of him.

We are a working farm, family owned for almost a quarter of a century.  Tammy, our camp director, is a third generation horsewoman, with an impressive win record.  We are not just a camp that offers horseback riding.  Our primary business is selling and training solid, safe recreational horses.  We are proud of our reputation for good horses and our ability to match riders to horses. Each summer we invite a small number of campers to become part of our family, living and working with us and with the horses.  We serve home cooked meals and eat together.  Get up early and ride several horses.  Learn grooming; show preparation; health car and feeding.  During the hottest part of the day we retreat to the house for lessons on horses, tack, registries and history of the breeds.  On weekends we attend shows, and our campers can participate or come along for the experience of seeing different kinds of horse competitions. 

We are proud that many of our horse buyers return to us when they want another horse, or recommend us to others.  We are equally proud that many of our campers return year after year and recommend us to their friends and family. 

Small numbers and indivdualized instruction make each camper's experience unique.  Memories by the minute!
