Specialty Camp instructors have the expertise and skills needed to encourage campers to be their best. Staff members are selected for their love and of the sport and dedication to helping children develop skills they need to have a life long enjoyment of their chosen sport.
Our Tennis Program provides the opportunity for children to learn the fundamentals of tennis. Without forcing a particular style of play, we develop each camper's game based on their individual strengths. We want each of our campers to improve, but to have fun in the process.
Campers receive a minimum of four hours of on-court instruction and training per day. This daily instruction is supplemented with group discussions and videotape clinics in which each camper receives personalized help on every element of the game.
Friendship Golf Camp imparts the basic skills needed to advance the ball from tee to cup, as well as providing the atmosphere in which young players can learn that those skills are just the beginning of what golf is all about.
Hosted by the 18-hole course of Laurel Ridge Golf Club, Camp Friendship proudly announces this exciting summer program. Golf campers will attend in one-week sessions, supervised by golf professional.
Golf campers will receive at least 2 hours per day of small-group instruction on the driving range, practice areas where they can work on their approach shots, and on the practice green. The daily lessons are supplemented with group discussions and video taped clinics, during which each camper receives personalized help on every element of grip, stance, swing and follow-through, in addition to instruction on the rules and etiquette of the game. Every afternoon, golf campers play nine holes of golf in a foursome with a counselor on the Laurel Ridge course.
