ECI Teen/Pre-College Summer Study Abroad

Join Edu-Culture International (ECI) for the experience of lifetime! Travel with us to France, Spain or Costa Rica for 3-4 weeks, take intensive language classes, live with a host family or in a dorm and meet teens from all over the world.

We offer you the opportunity to change your life in a few short weeks! Experience local culture and make friends you'll never forget. Earn university credit. Build your future college application while having more fun than you can imagine.

Edu-Culture International is a nonprofit organization based in Berkeley, California with additional offices in France, Spain and Costa Rica. We are dedicated to promoting intercultural understanding between young people throughout the world.

Our staff and volunteers are highly trained professionals with a background in education. Every member of the ECI team has a strong commitment to ensuring that our programs are, in every respect, safe, of exceptional quality, and – of course – fun for teens.

Each of our summer trips has a maximum of 30 students with 3 full-time experienced chaperones. Our chaperones are selected on the basis of language ability, maturity, patience, judgment, enthusiasm, personal integrity and their ability to earn the respect and trust of our teenage participants. Most of them are high school Spanish or French teachers who have traveled abroad extensively, and all are committed to giving each individual participant an enriching, fun and SAFE experience.

All prices include airfare, all group activities and excursions, classes, medical insurance. Airfare costs can be deducted for students traveling independently from the chaperoned group.
