At the National Computer Camps campers can design a video game, learn a computer language, produce a digital video, prepare for A+ and Network+ certifications, design a home page, play tennis, enter a network computer game tournament, play Civilization and make new friends?
What distinguishes NCC from other computer camps is that NCC aims to teach youngsters life long computer skills by providing a solid foundation in programming focusing on languages, 2D and 3D game design, applications and digital video editing. NCC is not a summer school, but rather a place where learning and fun are rolled into one and where the campers' self esteem is of foremost importance. The camp is for youngsters of all levels of experience from beginner to super advanced. In addition to computers, the campers enjoy superb recreational facilities including an optional sports program.
Campers may sign up for one or more weeks during June, July and August. The coed campers, ages 8-18 enjoy small group instruction on PC or Mac computers for ample 'hands-on'.
Now in our 32ndyear, National Computer Camp is 's original computer camp. The primary focus of NCC is computer programming, 2D and 3D video game design, video editing and software applications, including networking, web animation, Flash and graphics. An optional sports program is also available. Each week we offer all levels of programming in Basic, C++, Java, Assembler, HTML, XML, OpenGL and JavaScript. A special A+ and Network+ certification preparation program is also available. Campers may attend one or multi-week sessions with a continuous curriculum that is age appropriate and suitable for beginners to super advanced. The camps are ideal for both experienced and first time campers.
