We are not your traditional spring camp; we’re Kidspace! We’re 4.4 acres of petting bugs, learning about nature, crawling through a giant ant holes and performing science experiments. At Kidspace learning and play are one, so come out and play!
Children six to ten are invited to explore the world of Kidspace during two weeks of Spring Camps.
Week 1: Water Works
Monday, April 11 to Friday, April 15
Almost every living thing on Earth needs water to survive; it is called the “universal solvent” and it is one of the only materials that can be a gas, a liquid and a solid. Using fun science experiments and art we will explore what water is, what it does and what it can do.
Week 2: Super Hero Bugs!
Monday, April 18 to April 22
Did you know that ants can lift 50 times their own weight? And honey bees can lift over 300 times their own weight - roughly the equivalent to a person lifting 15 tons. Or that fleas that can leap eight hundred times farther than their own body length? During Spring Camp’s week two we will discover the amazing super powers of bugs and then learn to draw our own super hero bugs.
