Long Lake Camp for the Arts

Performing Arts/Fine Arts Camp plus land and water sports.

Long Lake Arts Camp goes beyond the traditional idea of a summer arts camp with a unique, non-competitive, nurturing program that caters to campers ages 10 to 16 who want to immerse themselves in a Performing Arts Camp and Fine Arts camp.

You choose what you want to do in Drama, Fine Arts, Dance, Music, Film making, Rock music and Circus, concentrating on what you like best. By creating your own summer arts camp program you get exactly what you want in rewarding arts summer camp fun. We also have a fantastic fully featured waterfront and a fun exciting sports department.

Theatre Program
During every session we produce musicals, comedies and dramatic productions that demand a commitment to hard work and provide opportunities for teamwork and theatrical fulfillment.

Video / Film Program
Campers have hands-on video learning with the latest equipment at Long Lake. Campers can star in, write, produce and edit their own video films which premier every Friday Night on our huge Video Projector in our Performing Arts Center Auditorium. Our technical equipment for video includes a multi-camera studio, Casablanca Digital Editor, and non -Linear Editors.

Special effects generation, advanced animation and a complete sound stage make video/filmmaking at Long Lake a fun & rewarding experience. Most important, our staff of video experts come to Long Lake to share their extensive knowledge and passion for the art of film making.

Circus Program
Campers learn to coordinate their mind and body while performing extraordinary feats of courage and daring that challenge the laws of physics. Our spectacular Three Ring Circus performs each session so run away and join the circus.

You could join the circus and learn how to Juggle or Clown, Trapeze or Triple Trap, Tumble or Jump. You could join the "Circus Brats" and play an important role in the staging and behind the scenes fun. How about learning how to rig the Fly or prep the Floor Show. Our circus is run by professionals who excel in making it fun yet safe for all to enjoy.

Our campus, located in New York state, is a stunning country setting with lush green lawns nestled along the shores of a clear blue lake. Beautiful fieldstone buildings, professional performance and studio spaces are all a part of the fresh mountain air and views that surround us.
